William James Wieseman was the only child of Genevieve Hare and Elmer Wieseman. He was born in St. Louis on August 17, 1925. On December 30, 1927, he was accidentally shot in the abdomen by his grandfather, Edward Hare. He was not expected to live. Fortunately, he did. According to the St. Louis Globe Democrat William and Mary L. Andrews obtained a marriage license in October of 1953.
William had three children:

William later married Cammelliaa Ann Jones. He remained with her until his death on November 15, 1995 in St. Louis, MO, nearly 68 years after the gun shot wound that was expected to kill him. He was buried with his parents at Resurrection Cemetery.
